Jabuka

Jabuka is located near Prijepolje, toward Pljevlja. Average altitude of the wavy plateau is 1,200 to 1300 meters, and the mountain is rich in evergreen forests and medicinal herbs. Spacious meadows and plateaus, mountain pastures and favorable climatic factors, especially air flow, provide ideal opportunities for tourism development.


In the summer months, when the sky is clear, from Jabuka one can see the peaks of Durmitor, Bjelasica, Zlatar and Jadovnik.

Not far from Jabuka there is Popova cave at the spring of the river Seljasnica. Entrance into the cave 880 meters above sea level.

Tourists can visit the nearby monasteries Mileseva, Davidovic and Kumanica, waterfalls on the river Sopotnica, and Kamena Gora. There is an unique memorial on the Jabuka mountain, with complex features of the memorial, as a memorial tomb in which 15 young men killed in World War I are burried. Then, there is Bosko Buha monument, and Memorial home in honor of young people killed in World War II.

During winter guests can use three ski tracks 300 meters long, with the ski lift, suitable for children and beginners.
