Museum of Yugoslav Film Archive
Yugoslav Film Archive was founded in 1949 under the name of Central Yugoslav Cinematheque. Today's name dates from 1952. It is located in a building which was originally a hotel "Serbian Crown" from the mid-nineteenth century. It consists of: Archive of the Yugoslav Cinematheque, the Museum of Yugoslav Film Archive, Library and General Services.
The fund Cinematheque is a movie collection of about 85 000 copies of various formats, 15 000 film posters, 500 000 photos, over 20 000 professional books, advertising material, models, technical articles and various documents. In addition to exhibitions, screenings, lectures and panel discussions, film archives is open to researchers and scholars.
