The Museum is to collect, research and technical protection of cultural heritage, but also their presentation to the public in order to promote science. The museum collection of around 7000 objects collected exclusively by gifts to the commitment of the curators themselves. There are four permanent exhibitions: "Second Round" (about 400 cases related to the way of life in Serbia show the technological development and its impact on people's lives), "Children's Museum" (exhibits toys from the period from 1920 to 1970), "Research Center "(20 exhibits approaching scientific developments, provide an interactive relationship and promote learning by discovery) and" Medicine in Serbia through centuries "(located in the building of Belgrade's first hospital of the nineteenth century, shows the development medicion in Serbia from the Paleolithic to the present day). The museum is the organizer of numerous concerts, exhibitions and lectures.
