Museum of Paja Jovanovic

Museum of Paja Jovanovic is dedicated to one of the greatest Serbian painter and representative of academic realism, who was born in Vrsac in 1859 and died in Vienna in 1957.


In 1952 Paja Jovanovic handed the Museum of the City of Belgrade entire legate with about 800 works of art and various objects, and at his own request he was buried in Belgrade and opened his museum in 1970. The Serbian culture, history and folk songs there is insiraciju for your images so they put some of the most famous works Seoba Srba, Proglasenje Dusanovog zakonika,  Macevanje, portreti Mihajla Pupina, kralja Aleksandra i kraljice Marije Karadjordjevic. The permanent exhibition of the Museum of Paja Jovanović exposed his personal documents, notes, correspondence, diplomas, painting accessories and 45 images.
