Vojvodina Ranches - Rokin Ranch
It is situated on the shore of Lake Ludas, 16 km from Subotica. The special charm of this farm is given by the Ludas Lake, which is included in the world natural heritage as a habitat for birds. It is a complex of water surfaces, morras, wet meadow steppe, and pan. In addition to rare birds, here you can find otters, turtles, and rare species of insects.
Once, this farm was called ‘Boat House’ because of the boatman that lived here. Centennial farm was restored, but the architectural appearance of three-part Pannonian house is preserved. The farm has no electricity, but the household uses solar energy.
Ranch provides excellent opportunities for conducting student trips, camps, excursions, lectures and seminars. In addition to visiting natural reserve ‘Ludas Lake’, one can visit ethno house made to be a museum.
The farm has two rooms, but the yard has room for about 50 campers, and this farm is usually a meeting place for tourists who like to stay in nature.
