Villages of Kraljevo municipality

Kraljevo is situated in central Serbia, on the banks of river Ibar, near its confluence with West Morava. It is the administrative, cultural, traffic, and trade center of Raska district. Kraljevo has a long and turbulent history, which can be seen in numerous cultural and historical monuments from the medieval to modern history.


Owing to its favorable geographical and traffic position, the river Ibar, West Morava, Ribnica, Lopatnica and Studenica, several spas, mountain, beach on Ibar, and many old towns and monasteries, Kraljevo is high ranked among the attractive tourist cities.

Mountains Kopaonik, Goc, Cemerno, Radocelo and Golija, rich in lush vegetation and varied wildlife, are famous as good terrains for hiking, skiing, hunting and fishing.

Studenica is located 61 km from Kraljevo. Studenica environment is characterized by favorable climate, outstanding natural beauty, clear river Studenica rich in fish, especially trout. Spiritual and sacred center of the medieval Serbia, it is surrounded by many monasteries: Studenica, Gradac, Pavlica, Sopocani, Djurdjevi Stubovi, Peter Church, Ljubostinja, Kalenic, and many spas: Vrnjacka, Upper Trepca, Mataruska, Bogutovacka, Josanicka.
