Here the leader of the First Serbian Uprising Karadjordje Petrovic was born, to whome a memorial plaque and a memorial fountain are dedicated. The village has a church dedicated to Sv. George, landscaped park, and grounds for football and basketball. The village has many cultural and artistic events of interest to tourists. There are numerous historical monuments related to Karadjordje near by, such as the church in Racanska Dobac, Radovanjski lug, Pokajnica, and a church in Topola.
