Villages of Uzice municipality

Uzice, with its surroundings, is known for its rich historical and cultural past and natural beauty. On one side are the slopes of Zlatibor, and the other gentle and picturesque villages surrounded by pastures and wooded slopes.


Karan is located in the central part of the Luznicka valley, 16 km north of Uzice. There is a white church in Karan, founded by prefect Brajan, built and painted in 1340-1342, and next to the church is a collection of monuments from the period of the Roman Empire.

Ribasevina village is characterized by mountainous features. It is located 20 km north of Uzice, in the upper part of the Luznicka valley, between Jelova Gora and Crnokosa. It is known fruit-growing region, surrounded by forests.
