About the facility
Restaurant "Knezev han" is located in the historic center of Topola, on the highway Belgrade - Gornji Milanovac. The building has a long history. It was built in 1842 as the summer residence of Prince Aleksandar Karadjordjevic, the place where it used to be Han. However, han began to deteriorate, until the year 2008., when began his restoration, thanks to family Arsenijevic from the site Vinca, near Topola. The restoration lasted six years and during the works was taken into account the preservation of authentic appearance, given that the building is under state protection. The uniqueness of the building is reflected in the Raska and Moravian style building, which best reflect the arches on the terrace with a view of the Church of the Virgin and City of Karadjordje. The interior is made of stone, wood and wrought iron. Restaurant "Knezev han" has a capacity of 100 seats, terrace with 180 seats, making it ideal for celebrations, family and business lunches. The restaurant menu consists of local cuisine combined with international specialties. The basis wine make wine from Topola, which is known for its cultivation of top quality grape varieties.
