Krusevac
Throughout the history Krusevac has been very well known just by the fact that it was the capital of Prince Lazar. During this period there was a fortress from which now only Donjon Tower is preserved, while in the center of old Lazar’s town is the church of Sts. Stefan, often called Lazarica by the founder Lazar.
With about 65,000 residents in the territory of the narrow city center, and over 145 thousand inhabitants in the territory of the City and 101 settlement, economic resources, developed social activities and spiritual superstructure, Krusevac is economic, administrative, cultural, health, educational, informational, sports center of great importance for Rasina District, and the Republic of Serbia. City area is 854 square km.
