Castle of former landowner Bogdan Dunđerski, is situated about 14km from Bečej, on the way to Bačka Topola, in the central part of Vojvodina. From Novi Sad is 60 km far away, and from Belgrade 135 km. The entire complex covers about 65 hectares and includes, beside the castle, a small castle, a chapel, stables of racehorses and park. The castle was built in the period from 1919 to 1923. and it represents a mixture of different styles. It was named after the famous stud runner Fantast, first Triple Crown winner in 1932 in the former Yugoslavia. Fantast castle was built by Bogdan Dunđerski member of the richest family in Vojvodina at the end of XIX century, and in the beginning of the twentieth. On his farm, which stretched to over 2600 acres. Today there is located hotel "Fantast", ovned by "PIK BEČEJ" AD The entire complex of the castle can be visited with guide. Castle currently has two accommodation units: -Tower (two apartments, one triple and four double rooms) -Additional part of the building (five double rooms). In the castle is a ceremonial hall (bigger hall with 70 places and smaller hall with 30 seats), which are suitable for holding various meetings and other celebrations, while in the basement of the castle is a restaurant (80 seats) in which prevail national and international cuisine. Trough the entire length of the complex, on the right side of the castle, stretches stable which occupies more than half of the entire complex. In this area there are four stables and several outbuildings and paddock and cross-training gallopers. With the help of an experienced instructor trainers you can get horseback riding, carriage and sleigh rides in winter in beautiful surroundings snow-covered plains. Not far from castle is a chapel whose iconostasis was Uroš Predić. The beautiful park, which surrounds the castle, is a mixture of English and French-style parks. Within the park there are two tennis courts. The castle is one of the most beautiful buildings of its kind in Serbia, and the nature around him is rich with romance and is very much reminiscent on a fairy tale.

ATRAKCIJE

The complex is located in the hunting area of Hunting Club Bečej. The terrain is rich in small game hunting (pheasant, rabbit, partridge) and big game (deer and elk). In addition it is possible to organize hunting and fishing in the nearby "Ribnjak" also having a "PIK BEČEJ" ad where there is a restaurant with fish specialties.
