Restaurant "Madera" is located in Tasmajdan, in the city whose history goes far back. The original is in place today, "Madera" a tavern "Smederevo" where they gathered coachmen and amal. Many decades later, in 1937, was built multi-storey building, in the spirit of modernism, and in its ground floor is located "Madera". About the name of the cafe there is an interesting story. In fact, one of the guests brought a Portuguese wine from the island of Madeira, and hence the name. At one time, the bar was a meeting place for urban bohemians, artists, men of letters, the Belgraders one word called Maderas. Today, the "Madera" is one of the most popular restaurants and unavoidable place on the tourist map of Belgrade. The restaurant consists of inner hall with a capacity of 170 seats and garden, overlooking the Tasmajdan park, which has 270 seats. The restaurant's parking lot with security. Kitchen restaurant includes local and foreign dishes. The wine list is very rich and includes domestic, Italian, French, Spanish, Chilean wines. Live music is represented in the evenings.
