Since 1958 restaurant Snezana faithfully awaits her costumers. On the crossroad of the two busiest streets in Belgrade / Knez Mihailo and Kralj Petar, for more than 50 years we serve our guest with carefully selected specialties. From her first days up to now, Snezana has stayed true to what she offers; she was and still is a café-patisserie on one hand, and a pizzeria on the other. If you sit outside, whether on the pavement of Knez Mihailo, or on the street of Kralj Petar, the quality will not pass you and the enjoyment will surely come. Inside Snezana, the ambient of old Belgrade portrays the times from which she has arrived - old photographs, rustic lights, bookshelves – early communism café. Surrounded with Knez Mihailo and Kralj Petar she is in everyone’s reach but also tucked into her own serenity. Over the years Snežana has become one of the symbols of our city, a place where we begin or finish our day, where we come for an afternoon rest or to meet our loved ones. You may often hear: I’ll be waiting for you at Snezana! Just as she waits for us all these years. According to traditional Italian recipes, the chef carefully prepares her dough. He kneads it until it becomes thin enough and until a perfect shape is attained – a circle on which he will skillfully arrange all the other ingredients just as a painter puts colors on an empty canvas. A few tomatoes, a bit of fresh basil, a pinch of oregano, grated Parmesan, chopped mushrooms. In a blink of an eye she is already in the oven. The chef knows exactly how much time she should be baked: until her edges become crispy, but in the inside she remains soft. He lifts her from the old oven, brightens her up with some fresh rucola, and off she goes to your table, carried in the hands of a handy waiter. After a good meal nothing can replace a good cake. As the years passed, Snezana’s recipes have become more perfect. We have kept the old ones, but also created new. Every one of them has obtained their honorable place in our vitrine. A lot of chocolate and fresh fruit are still our main ingredients. Next to the classical, we also serve chocolate Cheese Cakes, you can now try Tiramisu with strawberries, and a huge variety of cakes: Moscow, kinder, rhapsody… and the last but not the least: traditional Serbian delicacies like Mashed chestnut and Wheat with whipped cream! After a long walk trough the streets of Belgrade, or on a worm summer day, ice creams are a real treat. Known for her cakes, Snezana has another surprise in store for you: every summer she offers you her homemade ice creams! Whether you wish for only one or two balls in a cone, or maybe you wish to take a break in the shadows of our gardens, you can choose from a great variety of flavors: chocolate, vanilla, chestnut, Malaga, stracciatella, forest fruits, melon, plazma biscuit… The proof for the quality is the fact that our ice creams can be found in other cities in Serbia as well. If you ever find yourself on Vrnjacka Banja, Zlatibor, Srebrno jezero or any other place in the country, feel free to look us up, and along with the traditional meals have a special Snezana ice cream!!
