About the facility

Winery Kovacevic is located in a picturesque part of Irig, below the Orthodox Church, not far from the center of town, and has a tradition of grape growing and wine production for more than 100 years. Winery owns 10 hectares of vineyards located on the southern slopes of Fruska gora mountain, Srem district, Fruska gora wine region, at an altitude of 230 meters. In 2001st year it was completed construction of a new winery which was built with a modern wine accessories that reflect the postulates of modern technology. That year winery produced 10,000 bottles of wine, and in 2009. the 350,000 bottles were produced, and it was launched the production of sparkling wines using traditional method. Wine house Kovacevic was the result of years of work of Kovacevic winery as an effort to made opportunity for the guests to fully experience Vojvodina cuisine and wines from winery Kovacevic in friendly atmosphere and in a quiet environment isolated from the crowd. Within the wine house is a restaurant 'a la carte', tasting room and room for organized wine tours, and roofed summer garden in the shade of pine trees with a beautiful view on the mountain Fruska gora. Wine House offers for guests the option of accommodation in apartments. The distinctive and quality-controlled wine of cellar Kovacevic today can be found in wine lists of almost all major tourist facilities in the region.
